No blow outs in her white dress, no crying during the blessing (except by her mom), an occasional ray of sunshine, supportive family and friends...what more can you ask for of a Blessing Day?
We blessed Emerson in Logan, where she got a chance to meet many of her own kind:
Loving the limelight
My sisters and sisters-in-law threw me an awesome shower, where Em and I were spoiled with great company, yummy food, and generous gifts.
I was slightly devastated to find the tree house in my parent's backyard looking rather dilapidated. I had many a good time in those branches, may it rest in peace (or pieces).

Emerson looks absolutely adorable. Love her blessing dress! And that is great there was no blow out. We just blessed Bode last Sunday too and he did blow out (after the blessing, luckily!). We lost a onesie, but miraculously the blessing outfit was spared! Your little family is darling!
Yay for no catastrophes. So glad you were able to be spoiled again! Get in on the goods while you can. You run out of all that free stuff far to soon. Darn it huh? Your hair looks cute! Glad you are all well! Emerson is a cute baby! Way to go on giving her the good genes!
